Mondulkiri

Mondulkiri is another isolated forested province south of Ratanakiri, nestled against Cambodiaâ€™s eastern border with Vietnam. It really is another Cambodia, with scenery and a climate quite unlike anywhere else in the country. The province, rich in mountain streams, canals and forest characterizing the natural attraction. Sen Monorom:
Sen Monorom is the capital of the province and the only bas from which to explore the provinceâ€™s surrounding attractions. It is a charming little community set among rolling hills and nearby are a number of chunchiet villages and picturesque waterfalls.

Boo Sra Waterfall:

This double drop waterfall is an unforgiving journey of 37km from Sen Monorom, but is quite impressive, the upper tier dropping some 20m and the lover tier 40m. To get to the bottom of the upper falls, take a left turn just before the road hits the river above the falls. To get the bottom of the lower tier, further down the track. A little way on is the Pnong village of Pichinda where you can pick up some very basic food.

Sen Monorum Waterfall:

Locates at Sen Monorum district in five km distance from the provincial town by read soil trail, Along either sides of the trail, there are industrial plantations like rubber, coffee and cashew as well. The local people usually meet each other at Sen Monorom waterfall during the holidays and national festival because it is closed to the provincial town.

Rum Near Waterfall:

Locates at Sen Monorom District in 10.5km distance from the provincial town. The waterfall has good location, which is closed to the industrial plantations like rubber, coffee, cashew, mango, Avocado and Pres as well. During the rainy season, the waterfall has 5m height and 10m diameter, and during the dry season, the waterfall has 6m height and 8m diameter only. At the waterfall, there are many big trees projecting the cool shadow to the area.

Chrey Thom Waterfall:

Locates at Sen Monorum District in 43km distance from the provincial town. During the dry season, the waterfall has 15m height and 2m diameter, and during rainy season, the waterfall has 11m height and 8m diameter. The waterfall surrounded by plantation of Sro Lou and there is a big and brandy tree of Chrey. The provincial town tourist office in cooperation with the territorial authority has arranged this waterfall spot as the tourist site instead of Boo Sra waterfall that unable to be accessible during the rainy season.
