Tonle Sap & Floating Village, take a ride by traditional wooden boat on Tonle Sap Lake to experience the human occupations at the edges of the lake is similarly distinctive - floating villages, towering stilted houses, huge fish traps, and an economy and way of life deeply intertwined with the lake, the fish, the wildlife and the cycles of rising and falling waters. In the wet season, the Tonle Sap Lake is one of the largest freshwater lakes in Asia.

Angkor Silk Farm 16Km from Siem Reap, is an exhibition center of silk processes and production to experience the mulberry fields, silkworm breeding and traditional silk weaving.

Angkor Thom: The ancient capital (12th century). See the South Gate including Bayon Temple, unique for its 54 towers decorated with over 200 smiling faces of Avolokitesvara. The Royal Enclosure, Phimeanakas The Elephant Terrace and the Terrace of the Leper King

Afternoon visit:

Angkor Wat: The “7^th Wonders’ of the World”. World Heritage Site since 1992, famous for its beauty and splendor. Angkor Wat features the longest continuous bas-relief in the world, which runs along the outer gallery walls and narrates stories from Hindu mythology.

Bakheng hill: Sunset viewing on top of the hill. Bakheng is the first major temple to be constructed in the Angkor area, this temple-mountain offers extraordinary views of the Tonle Sap and Angkor wat.

Today we explore:

Banteay Srey: 35Km from Siem Reap seemingly miniature in comparison to the other Angkor temples, BANTEAY SREI is considered to be the jewel of classical Khmer art. Built in pink sandstone, the walls are covered in exquisitely preserved carvings of unusual delicacy. Because of its small size, fairy-like atmosphere and extraordinary examples of Khmer sculpture, this temple is often a favorite with visitors.

Banteay Samre: Its rose-colored sandstone walls are decorated with carvings and bas-reliefs, which are among the most accomplished Angkor has to offer.

Afternoon visit Small Ciruit including:

Fabulous Ta Prohm: this sprawling complex is famous for its jungle-like, ruined atmosphere, and the giant trees which rise from the stone, gripping the temple in their extensive roots. The temple appears very much as it would have to the first European explores and invites visitors to linger in its crumbling passageways

Thommanan, Chaosay Tevoda, Ta Keo: small, attractive temple in very good condition, built at the same time as Angkor Wat,

Prasat Kravan - with its unique brick sculptures,

Srah Srang, The Royal Baths" was once used for ritual bathing), Banteay Kdei, surrounded by four concentric walls

Back to hotel and overnight.
